ASTRO PLAYER

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-16

Astro Player is a general-purpose media player. This policy explains what data we handle when you use our app and web portal, and what we do with it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.

1. What we collect

  • Device identifiers. A Device MAC and Device Key generated by the app to identify your device. This is how you sign in — we do not ask for your name, email or password.
  • Playlists you add. The M3U list names and URLs you save in the portal, so your app can load them. You add these yourself; you can edit or delete them at any time.
  • Payment data. If you activate a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — only the activation result and expiry date.
  • Support messages. If you open a support ticket, we store the messages you send so we can reply.
  • Technical logs. Basic logs (such as IP address and time) used only for security and to prevent abuse.

2. What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.
  • We do not host, provide, control or monitor the content of the playlists you add. You are responsible for using only legal lists you have the right to use.
  • We do not track your viewing activity for marketing.

3. How we use your data

We use the data above only to: sign you in, load your playlists, process activations, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not use it for anything else.

4. Third parties

We rely on Stripe for payment processing and on our hosting provider to run the service. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the service.

5. Data retention & your rights

We keep your data while your device is active. You may request deletion of your device and its data at any time by contacting us. Removing a playlist deletes it immediately.
